JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
- Assist in creating warehouse space by working together with team members to come up with new ideas for space utilization.
- Manage the overflow space to maximize the space and inventory management of transferring the right inventory in/out to minimize excess travel time back and forth.
- Responsible for daily general housekeeping of the entire facility. Facility should remain clean daily.
- Responsible for general safety and always looking for hazardous conditions.
- Pick and stage orders for shipping within the warehouse facility; must be experienced in operating hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the warehouse.
- Receive, unpack, check and put away stock merchandise or materials.
- Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes. Organize and assign merchandise to correct bin locations.
- Must always be proactive in looking to move faster moving items to the best locations.
- When routing the truck for deliveries, specialist must be able to select appropriate delivery routes to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate and expedite the flow of items to and from various sections of the warehouse so as to increase efficiency in operations in receiving, order pulling, shipping and loading of truck.
- Delegate trash pickup in warehouse office area and front patio area on a daily basis.
- Hold Bi-Weekly meetings with staff to discuss process improvement ideas/Submit to Warehouse manager
- Responsible for making sure equipment demo area is clean at all times.
- Responsible for managing the overflow warehouse
- Ability to Multi-task and have a 360 degree view of workflow requirements
- Responsible for General Safety and looking out for hazardous conditions.
- 100% accountability of all 3PA ( 3rd Party Audit ) warehouse and housekeeping SOP responsibilities
- Open minded to all suggestions from staff in ideas on how to improve our processes and product allocation and assign action plans to support
- High visibility for our Screen Doors and Cones to ensure closely monitored
- Reports directly to Warehouse Manager.

REQUIREMENTS |
- Must have at least 5 years supervisor experience of at least 5 plus employees in a distribution facility. Able to work closely with company drivers.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work in different Departments as necessary.
- Must be willing to work occasional overtime and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS |
- Must be computer literate
- Must be forklift certified
- Must speak English or Bilingual
