• Schedules work assignments, manages priorities and directs work of maintenance and custodial personnel as well as outside vendors.
• Plans, schedules and implements preventive maintenance program; schedule and prioritize repair initiatives.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and addresses maintenance issues and requests to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Assesses production schedules and equipment requirements and plan the repair and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Trains, develops, motivates and coaches employees; provides feedback to employees and completes performance evaluations.
• Ensures effective employee relations by holding employees accountable, communicating information clearly and resolving conflict among employees.
• Recommends improvements to and replacement of maintenance equipment; write specifications and/or estimates for equipment orders.
• Ensures complete documentation of all service to equipment, repair orders, and maintenance purchases.
• Manages and collaborates on the coordination of capital projects.
• Ensures compliance with applicable building, equipment and safety codes, standards and regulations.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvements to streamline efficiencies and cost savings.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager in an manufacturing & warehouse setting; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, PLC’s, servo amplifiers and sensors.
• Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
• Has a "whatever it takes" attitude.
• A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
• Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
