Responsibilities
Responsible for performing onsite facility inspections at Bang co-packers at all stages of productions, including review of raw materials, in-process manufacturing and finished products
Review policies and procedures at Bang co-packers to ensure they are compliant with Bang product specifications and regulatory guidelines and standards
Conduct audits at co-packing facilities and document accordingly
Submit complete inspection/audit reports in a timely manner to Quality Manager
Communicate with multiple facilities to arrange on-site presence during Bang production runs and organize visits efficiently
Arrange travel plans to Bang co-packing facilities
Report feedback, findings or non-conformance clearly and effectively to management team
Requirements
Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in a science related field
5 years or more auditing experience in the Food/Beverage and/or Dietary Supplement industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with FDA, 21CFR117, 21CFR111, and other third party auditing agencies
Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once all while ensuring that quality and standards are met
Must be fluent in English and have good computer skills
Must be available and willing to travel
Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools
Has a "whatever it takes" attitude
A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment
Willing to travel 50% of the time
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
