Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a PRE LITIGATION PARALEGAL and a LITIGATION PARALEGAL  for their Fort Lauderdale office, to help injured clients receive fair compensation for physical and/or mental injury resulting from third party negligence. Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload
• Monitor medical expenses, lost wages and other damages
• Gather and evaluate medical records
• Consult with clients and their medical providers regarding medical treatment status and future medical needs
• Maximize available insurance coverage to serve clients medical and financial needs
• Negotiate bodily injury and uninsured motorist settlements
• Prepare closing statements and process settlements
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with medical and legal professionals in the local community to improve referral rates
• Maintain contact with former clients to secure repeat business
