Material Handler - Fort Lauderdale, FL $12-13/hr

Making of daily boxes for production along with pre-building order kits to be staged for shipping
Maintain cleanliness of work environment daily
Ability to use RF scanner for inventory control and processing of orders
Package materials and products manually
Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.
Folds & tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction.
Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Some computer knowledge of Excel and Microsoft windows
2 years of warehouse and RF scanner preferred
Physical/Work Environment/Expectations

While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to:

Work in a seated or standing position for the duration of the work day
Bend, stoop/squat, crouch/kneel, climb stairs and walk intermittently throughout the workday
Perform direct and indirect tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as folding boxes, paperwork, computer keyboarding, filing, calculating and use of telephone
See, hear and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment
Must be able to lift up to 20 - 30 pounds
Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands
